Start building on Blast, the Ethereum L2 with native yield for ETH and stablecoins.

Ankr is thrilled to announce we are making an important addition to our RPC service with the Blast L2 network! This is great news for developers looking to get the jump on building on top of Blast for scalable and rewarding dApps! Users will be able to access Blast Public and Premium RPCs, make request calls, and receive information returns that are identical to the results you would get by running a full node themselves.

What is Blast?

Blast is an EVM-compatible, optimistic L2 rollup that raises the baseline yield for users and developers without changing the experience crypto natives expect. Blast was built on the principle that markets march towards efficiency. More specifically, liquidity flows to where it can get the highest yield. This is why Blast natively participates in ETH staking while passing staking yields back to users and dApps. They designed the L2 from the ground up so that users holding ETH in their wallet on Blast will accumulate rewards over time automatically.

What Are Ankr’s New Blast RPC Connections?

  • Ankr’s Blast RPCs (Remote Procedure Calls) connect your wallet, command-line interface, or dApp with the Blast L2. They act as a messenger or blockchain router that relays on-chain information between Blast nodes, dApps, and ultimately end-users so they can execute necessary tasks like transactions, populate wallet balances, fetch ownership information, and much more.

  • Blast RPC endpoints are a gateway for developers to interface directly with Blast — a portal to communicate easily, remotely, and with no need to go through the DevOps of establishing their own Blast nodes.

  • Ankr is providing a geo-distributed Blast RPC comprised of blockchain nodes running worldwide for incredibly low latency and reliable connections.

How Do the Blast RPCs Help Developers?

Building with Blast is an excellent choice for creating scalable and rewarding dApps but requires access to the information on Blast nodes to do so. Therefore, Ankr’s RPC solves the following developer troubles:

Eliminates complex node ops - Ankr’s Blast RPCs will completely remove the need for many developers to set up their own Blast nodes, removing hours of time spent building, calibrating, and fixing node issues.

Grants access to advanced tools -  Ankr’s Premium RPC Plan instantly grants access to the best tools to build applications quickly, including:

  • At least 1,500 Blast req/sec
  • Dedicated Blast endpoints
  • Prioritized requests
  • WebSockets (WS) capabilities

Powers apps and open-source software that need access to Blast - Connect with a cluster of high-performance nodes that holds the information you need to build and operate dApps with Blast chain capabilities.

Supports the Blast network - Ankr will strengthen the Blast network globally by offering easier development and a broader, decentralized node infrastructure.
