Release time
If you decide to unstake, it can take up to 28 days before the unstaked funds are released to your wallet.
Unstake DOT
As redeeming of aDOTb (unstaking DOT) is done in the Ethereum network, ensure you have a small amount of ETH to pay the gas fee for your unstaking transaction.
- Open Ankr Staking Dashboard (opens in a new tab).
- Locate the aDOTb box and click the - icon to unstake.
- Enter the amount to unstake and click Unstake.
If you don't check the External address button, the DOT tokens are released to the connected Polkadot.js wallet. Checking the box and entering an address, you can specify what wallet to send the unstaked DOT to.
- Confirm the unstaking transaction in MetaMask.
- On the next page, check the release time to understand when your DOT tokens are released to your wallet and click Go to dashboard.
