Stake FTM

Before you start

Ensure the following:

Wallets that support Fantom: MetaMask, MathWallet, TrustWallet.
ImToken and Huobi wallet do not support Fantom.

Connect your wallet

  1. Visit Ankr Staking Dashboard (opens in a new tab). Connect wallet button
  2. Click Connect wallet in the top-right corner of the page. Connect wallet button
  3. Choose MetaMask. Connect wallet button
  4. If you have multiple accounts in MetaMask, choose an account to connect and click Next. Choose an account
  5. Click Connect and wait for a couple of moments till the connecting process is finished. Connect the account
  6. Successful connection to Ankr Staking is indicated at top right corner by the address of wallet you connected. Wallet connected
  7. If asked by Ankr Staking to switch networks, select a network of your choice. Select a supported network
  8. Click Switch network to confirm switching. Confirm switching networks

Stake FTM

We have made a separate testnet version of Fantom Liquid Staking on Fantom Testnet (opens in a new tab)!
Anybody interested to test Liquid Staking without spending mainnet FTM, come and try it!

Make sure you have a small surplus of FTM to pay the gas fees for the staking transaction.
For Fantom Liquid Staking, Ankr deducts a 15% technical service fee from the accumulated rewards.

There are no more new stakes getting aFTMb token. However, old stakes with aFTMb keep generating you rewards. You can also switch aFTMb for ankrFTM now (opens in a new tab) (supply is limited).

  1. Visit Ankr Staking (opens in a new tab).
  2. Locate the Fantom (FTM) box and click Stake in it. Click Stake in Fantom (FTM) box
  3. Enter the desired amount of ETH to stake and click Get ankrFTM (ex-aFTMс). Enter an amount and click Get
  4. Confirm the transaction in your wallet. Confirm staking transaction
  5. Add the liquid staking token to your wallet, clicking Add ankrFTM to wallet. Click Add to add the token to your wallet
  6. Click Go to dashboard to see the added token. You may need to wait a little for the transaction to finalize and Dashboard to automatically update. Click Go to dashboard

To reflect your staking rewards, your ankrFTM keeps growing in price to FTM, never changing in number.
To get more yield out of your Liquid Staking tokens, visit Ankr DeFi (opens in a new tab).

Don't see your ankrFTM balance?

If you don't see your ankrFTM balance in your wallet:

  1. Visit Ankr Staking Dashboard (opens in a new tab).
  2. Find your liquid staking token, click the three-dot menu, and click Token information. Click the three dot menu button and click Token information
  3. Click Add ankrFTM to wallet. Click Add ankrFTM to wallet

You can also manually import the token in your wallet and copy&paste the Contract address while doing it.
